When we think of college applications and Ivy League schools, we often consider test scores, grades and extracurricular activities.  Do you know, A student’s personality, values and contributions also carry significant weight in the admissions decision to a dream school. Character matters!

Our keynote speaker, Lynn O’Grady, Director of College Counseling at Westridge School in Pasadena, will share her knowledge at various pathways to dream colleges. She will highlight areas of building character: risk taking, failing as learning, overcoming challenges, serving community and problem solving as examples.

It is an incredibly special and can't miss education opportunity for parents and students to listen to the expert.  Pls RSVP TODAY to save your spots.

About our speaker: Lynn O'Grady

Director of College Counseling, Westridge School, Pasadena, CA

Lynn joined Westridge in 2010 and in addition to overseeing the school’s college counseling program, she serves on the school’s Curriculum and Academic Standards Committee. With more than 25 years of wide-ranging experience in education across the country, Lynn holds teaching credentials in New Jersey, Minnesota, and California. From teaching to counseling and pre-school to high school, Lynn’s entire career has been dedicated to education, with a specific interest in helping students who would be the first in their family to attend college. As part of that work, she co-founded the Princeton High School Generation 1 Program in Princeton, N.J., a program that assists first-generation college students whose parents or guardians did not attend college.
