About the Event

East Meets West Parent Education Club strives to provide helpful workshops for the whole family. This Volunteer Opportunities Workshop is an excellent workshop for everyone to attend and learn about service opportunities in local non-profit organizations. Representatives from Cancer Support Community, Door of Hope, Habitat for Humanity, and Villa Esperanza will all be present. Be prepared to learn, be inspired, and serve!


Workshop is in panel format where representatives provide an organization overview, discuss the impact they make in the community, share the process to volunteer, and various positions possible to volunteers for. Lively Questions and Answers is expected. Refreshments also provided to allow for additional networking opportunities afterwards.
