COVID-19 forced schools to suddenly turn to virtual world for students in order to finish the school year. Unfortunately, this sudden change also brought so many changes and mental health problems in families. Students have lost social outlets as well as the learning environment they were accustomed to. There are major concerns regarding mental health and distance learning as a result of the coronavirus shutdown.

Our speakers, Tonya El-Hendi and Christine Flores, counselors at San Marino Unified School District (Top public school district in Southern California),will cover adolescents EQ and how to support students for the distance learning during the pandemic. College admission is another top concern for many parents. There will be important information, great advice to empower our parents as we play a pivotal role on our children' lives during this pandemic.
