Dr. Jeff Wilson has been educating children for over 25 years as a Math Instructor,

Assistant Principal, Principal and Assistant Superintendent. On July 1, 2019, Dr. Wilson

assumed the role of Superintendent of Schools with the San Marino Unified School

District where he now leads one of the top-ranked school District in California. Students

who graduate from San Marino High School attend the best public and private

universities in America and the world.

As an innovative leader, Dr. Wilson empowers teachers and principals to initiate and

lead instructional reforms and innovations. He has collaborated and partnered with

domestic and international leaders who are interested in, and promote, personalized

learning, character education, reforms in mathematics, science (Next Generation

Science Standards), English Language Development, social sciences, restorative

practices, and active community engagement.

While Dr. Wilson has enjoyed a long career in education, his professional journey

includes time spent as a chef, waiter, executive assistant, forklift driver, roofer,

electrician-apprentice, financial director, hotel manager, marketing director and

educator. As a student, Dr. Wilson graduated from Glendora High School, Cal State

Fullerton (BS and MS), Biola University (MDiv), and he earned his Doctorate in

Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.

Dr. Wilson has been married to his teacher-wife and best friend, Corrine for 31 years

and is very proud of his daughter Ally, who serves as a Burn ICU Nurse in Torrance

Memorial Hospital.
